Tag 131 Sougia- Paralia Anydri (Paleochora)

Yesterday there was actually good weather for swimming. Burki builds stone sculptures and goes swimming. In the evening, I realize that I feel restless again. It's hard to describe the feeling, but I know that something needs to happen. The idea came right away: tomorrow we want to go to a different spot, I'll hike there. The weather forecast is not so great, but it doesn't matter as long as I don't feel so restless anymore 😅. I already knew the first stretch to Lissos from Saturday. But the good thing was that I could now take another look at the mosaic of the Asklepios Temple. On Saturday we didn't know that the gate was open to get there. From Lissos, the path led up to a plateau again. By now, I had been hiking for almost 3 hours and I had only seen goats so far. Then it went downhill to the coast. From here I could already see Paleochora in the distance. There was thunder and lightning over the sea. Suddenly, a man with a rifle and a dog appeared behind me. I was totally scared. There are some people like that here, they shoot at birds. Really stupid. Shortly afterwards, it started raining and there was lightning above me as well. I quickly found a rocky overhang, took off my wet jacket and ate my bread. It was only 1 km to the campsite. It didn't take long before my phone rang. Thanks to the GPS tracker, Burki always knows where I am. He said he was almost there, by coincidence, he was nearby and hadn't reached the campsite yet. He almost zoomed past my cave. We decided not to go to the campsite today. We wouldn't do laundry in this weather anyway. We parked at the beach where I had walked by. It seems like it will continue to rain like this today. But tomorrow, the sun is supposed to shine for 5 hours ☀️.

Today Aischa got her trailer driving license. I think it's great and I also think it's important that women can drive such vehicles if necessary. Lenny showed me his new tooth gap. It's nice to see the kids on the phone again.
