Finally arrived!

It's Friday and today we finally arrive in Croatia!

The journey through Slovenia is as smooth as always. But the weather! 😱 Why is it raining and gray and cold? Oh no, we packed almost exclusively summer clothes! However, the climate really changes when we cross the border into Croatia. The sun comes out, it gets warm, and I can already smell the sea ☀️ 🌊 😊.

One of the first campsites that are signposted is "ours": Camping Selce, near Crikvenica. Maneuvering the motorhome onto the pitch was not easy due to the steep slope, and getting in and out afterwards was not easy either 😅. Thanks to the leveling jacks, we were actually level, even if it doesn't look like it in the photo!

The site is located right on a long promenade, where we also found a nice restaurant right on the water in the evenings. But all in all, there was too much hustle and bustle for us here. The beach is not nice and we didn't like the campsite that much either. That's why we moved on the next morning.
