14:30: Quick ice cream stop in Eckenzahl, picked up Matz and Domi by chance, thanks Ossi for the snacks

Monday 1.5. (43 km)

After a tearful farewell, we start with confetti towards Neumarkt...

Volker and Anita have joined as companions...

With beautiful weather, we cycle through mountains and valleys until we take a break in Altdorf... We meet Andi and Jakob again :) (they live there and happened to be outside)

Here we say a heavy-hearted goodbye to Ossi and cycle to Berg to a campground...

While we ride from a café back to the campground, it starts to rain...

So we make ourselves comfortable in the common room (THANK GOODNESS IT EXISTS) and play cards...

Tuesday 2.5. (0 km)

and it's raining and raining and raining and raining...

Conclusion: 2 out of 4 leaking tents

So we stay in the common room and drink tea...

Volker and Anita take the train home and come back by car to load everything up (Wednesday was unfortunately a workday)

AND THEY BRING US SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE, WINE, and BREAKFAST

Finally, the sun came out at exactly 5 PM!!
