With the helicopter over Kauai, Day 17

Wow, wow, wow, wow. It's hard to put into words what we experienced today. In the morning, the Jeep took us to the area north of our accommodation towards Ha'ena State Park. In addition to some amazing views, we also explored a cave and watched a Monk Seal sleeping. After that, we drove to Lihue where we started a 50-minute helicopter flight. It was simply indescribable. We saw places like the Jurassic Canyon with the Jurassic Falls. This area is famous for the movies of the same name. The entire area is privately owned and not publicly accessible. After that, we flew to Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Then we continued to the Na Pali Coast, which is also not accessible by foot. After landing, we bought a picture and a video from the flight, and then 'flew' back to the accommodation by car. In Kapaa, we had Mexican food. And right now, at 9:20 PM, we had 3 minor earthquakes.
