Off to the island

Wednesday: Set the alarm again because we didn't want to miss our ferry.... The tranquil boat ride I was expecting turned out to be an hour-long ride on a speedboat with 750 roaring horsepower - no communication possible.

Now the horrendous price of the trip was explained to us... Unfortunately there was nothing to see because it was closed so you could only look out the back. Some passengers didn't feel quite as comfortable.

After about 5 hours in the metal box that drove to various islands, we were finally allowed to get out on Ko Libong - in the rain! But warm shower...

8km on the only road on the island with the cargo moped including an island explanation from the driver, then we were finally there.

Arrive at our hut on the beach, stretch our legs and finally, finally - the first beloved fresh coconut!
