Our last day in Los Angeles

On our last day in Los Angeles, we slept in because we wanted to start our day relaxed today. So we drove to the Santa Monica Pier around 9 a.m. and had a look around and enjoyed the view of the ocean. The weather was perfect again today, as it has been for the past three weeks. After having breakfast at the pier, we took a 3.5 km hike along the beach towards Venice Beach. There were always shops and cafes along the pier, so the walk was very varied. Towards the early afternoon we strolled around the city again before returning to our accommodation to pack our bags for the return flight.

Tomorrow we're heading home from LA via Houston.
