We really enjoyed Wellington with its valleys and saddles covered by forest in the middle of the city. We also recognized a culinary diversity and the abundance of vegan options.
The highlight of our stay was the guided night-tour in Zealandia, a 225-hectare big ecosanctuary where we saw one Takahé, two Tuataras, glowworms, four Kiwis and many other birds.
