31.12.2018 New Year's Eve

In the morning, we drove in convoy with 6 cars and the 'culprits' of our boat tour towards Gelukspoort to Chrissi and Frankie's lodge. Once again, a dream lodge in the middle of nowhere :-) We were expected to celebrate New Year's Eve with the Röschi - Friends circle. We, the Schmidties, were warmly welcomed as 'newcomers' and were included in the group as we had been the day before. After a hearty bushman fondue and a merry evening, our year 2019 began. The next 2 days were spent with the whole gang and we had a great time.

On January 2nd, we continued towards Etosha National Park, where our ranger Hendrik was supposed to treat us to a great game drive.
