4-күн (2): Спревальдтағы құлып

After a little hiking trip, I drove to Burg in the Spreewald. As luck would have it, there was a farmer and craftsman market there. Even though the target group was obviously 60+, it was a nice thing. I ate my way through many variations of the famous Spreewald pickles. I didn't even know that there were so many, honey pickles, mustard pickles, chili pickles, and curry pickles, just to name a few. My favorite, however, is a classic version with lots of salt and dill, which was also very sour. I also took a little bucket with me for the road. There was also a well-preserved fire station with old fire trucks.

Typical for the Spreewald are boat trips in a small boat, similar to Venice, with a boatman who steers and propels the boat with a pole. Of course, I tried it out right away. There are around 1500 km of waterways in the Spreewald. Next time I'll explore it with my own canoe.

At this point, I would like to recommend the Spreewald as a travel destination to anyone who hasn't been there yet, I really liked it. There is a lot to see here. This is also where one of the minorities in Germany lives, the Sorbs. The culture and language have Slavic origins, and much has been preserved here to this day, including bilingual street names.

After that, I continued to Cottbus, which was only about 25 km away.
