Viti Krater, Husavik, Camping 66.12 NORTH, Mánárbakki

08/22/2023: Since it's not raining, we drive to Viti Crater Lake - again past the steaming, hissing geothermal fields and the power plant. There is a warm shower on the side of the road, since a cold wind is blowing, we do without it.... In Husavik we treat ourselves to a relaxing afternoon in the Geosea thermal baths, wonderfully situated above the bay. From the warm water you can follow the whale-watching boats and share experiences with other travelers. Towards evening we reach today's destination: Camping 66.12 north - it's time to do the laundry again...
