Pure nature...

Somewhere we once read that freedom can be described as: stumbling out of your own VW bus and finding yourself in the middle of nowhere, sitting under a tree like Pippi Longstocking without looking to the left or right beforehand.

We have found such a place. Not specifically searching for it, but found it. Actually, we wanted to go to a parking space that had a great rating and was only a few meters away from a lake, but we entered the wrong address into the navigation system and when we realized we were wrong, we simply followed our gut feeling and ended up here. In this perfect spot in the beautiful nature of Sweden. Right in happiness.

If we had written down our ideas of how we imagine nature in Sweden, this place here would have been too picturesque to be true. So here we are, with our Penelope, right next to a mirror-smooth lake surrounded by forest. A small wooden pier floats in the water and the warm wood warms us up after a dive into the cold water. There are almost no mosquitoes, only singing birds. If you explore the surroundings, you will come across the typical Swedish houses in red and white, wide cornfields, cafes in flower gardens, and nice people.
