Miniature wonderland

At 6:00 am, my alarm clock went off at the Hamburg hostel. I got up and walked to the Miniatur Wunderland. On the way, I bought something for breakfast at a bakery and arrived punctually before 7:30.

I spent the rest of the day exploring the different parts of the wonderland. Highlights include an airport with actual landing and takeoff of various planes (including the Millennium Falcon), a huge real-water basin in Scandinavia with moving ships, and generally a beautifully designed landscape with many small funny scenes.

For lunch, I had fries at the wonderland bistro and then visited the special exhibition on the division of Berlin and the history of the wonderland. After a little ice cream break, I continued walking through the exhibition to fully enjoy everything.

In the evening, I attended the Mini Munich Online meeting and then went to bed relatively early.
