Vermont Brewery Tour (5)

Next we went to Lost Nation Brewing, a very good sour beer and saison brewery. It was so crowded here too that we had to stand at the entrance to drink our beer.

Gose 4.5%

An old sour beer style that comes from near Leipzig. Salt and coriander are brewed with it. This version was very good to drink. No ingredients stand out too much and it makes a nice gose.

The Wind (Dry-Hopped Gose) 4.5%

The brewery also has its gose in a version stuffed with Citra hops. It's incredibly interesting how well the stuffed hop aromas go together with the light acidity of the gose. I never would have imagined that.

Saison Lamoille (Farmhouse Ale/Saison) 5.9%

Very pleasant saison with a well-selected saison yeast. Very authentic!

Petit Ardennes (Dry-Hopped Session Farmhouse Ale) 4.2%

A saison stuffed with Citra that emphasizes the spicy saison yeast flavor with subtle notes of tropical fruit.
