The royal city of Patan

Жарияланды: 11.04.2024

At the end of my trip through Nepal I visited the third royal city.

As in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, there are a large number of temples in Patan's Durbar Square. The royal palace is also located there, and its courtyards are open to visitors. There, in addition to the royal bath, you can also admire the delicate wood carvings in peace and quiet.

Aside from Durbar Square, there are of course other Hindu and Buddhist temples in Patan. A special highlight is the Temple of a Thousand Buddhas, which is covered with more than 3,300 small terracotta Buddhas.

After all these impressions, I went back to Kuntabesi.
