Day 6-8 Innsbruck Hall- Glungezer Hut

The rest day in Innsbruck was more like a worrying day 😅. The last group I ran with had already booked everything up to Venice. That made me a little restless again. So on Thursday from 6:00 am, I started writing emails to many huts. Looking at tours, somehow quite stressful. In the morning, there was shopping in the city. The city center offered a wide selection of mountain sports stores. I found trekking poles and bought new socks. Mine already have a hole.😁. At noon back to the guesthouse and the office continued. At 5:30 pm, Biene arrived by train. In the evening, we went to the old town again, many people, and I thought to myself that I'm glad to be back in the mountains tomorrow. We went back relatively early, the Mupfel was waiting 😊.

This morning, we took the train to Hall, had breakfast, and then walked to Tulfes. Then we took the cable car to the middle station. We walked on foot to the Glungezer Hut. The landscape is beautiful again. The weather on our side allowed for great views. The Karwendel Mountains, from which we came, are distinct. The Glungezer Hut is a relatively small accommodation. Very cozy at an altitude of 2600 m. At 7:45 pm, there was a weather report on the neighboring peak by the hut landlord. Accompanied by the 3 dogs and the sun, we enjoyed the fascinating landscape. The tour tomorrow will be difficult in the first section, starting at cold -2 degrees. But the sun will be our companion again. I'm looking forward to it. And I think it's very nice that Farina is here.
