Mysterious and captivating Central Norway

The hike to the Svartisen Glacier in the first part was a jungle-like hike: through dense undergrowth and bushes, over rocks and stones, with high humidity, swampy ground, and limited visibility. Upon reaching the other side of the lake, the hike progressed much faster over rocky landscapes with warm sun and impressive waterfalls. We had to endure until the last 500 meters to finally catch sight of the imposing, glistening glacier tongue (by the way, one of a total of 60 tongues of the 370 m2 glacier). The dimensions of the white giant were difficult to grasp even up close. The actual hike was certainly not the most beautiful, especially at the beginning and end, but the destination was well worth the effort. We were able to spend the night about 15 meters away from one of the shimmering blue, icy glacier rivers.

Ich habe tatsächlich beim Lesen den Mund mitbewegt - Munkebu 😅. Wie immer eine ganz wunderbare Beschreibung. Passt weiterhin gut auf euch auf. 💞
