Vietnam - Saigon, Mekong Delta Tour

Last stop of our 14-day trip to Vietnam was Saigon, before heading to Thailand. It rained for the first time here, so we didn't do much in the city itself and only booked a Mekong Delta Tour for the last day, which was not that great mainly because of our guide, who thought he was hilarious but was just telling cheesy jokes. Anyway, we first visited a temple complex, then got on a big boat that took us to a 'coconut candy factory' (a banana leaf house with an oven and 5 working women who made, rolled, and packaged the candy), then we got on small boats where we could wear those cool Vietnam hats and finally had lunch where our guide sang with his grandpa band. The small boats were really cool and that's what we had envisioned for the main part of the tour, but unfortunately the ride only lasted 10 minutes, which was a bit disappointing. But since we only paid 8€ for the tour, we couldn't expect too much and it was okay ;)

All in all, Vietnam was a really beautiful trip and there were many great places and tours. Not to mention the people, who were so nice, accommodating, and helpful!!! Our accommodations were also always top-notch except for 1-2 exceptions which were still totally fine. So I can only recommend Vietnam! ;)
