At the southernmost point of Europe

I'm glad I'm not sleeping on the bus in Tarifa on these windy days, but in Víctor's apartment right next door. I would say 5-star couchsurfing. I can see my bus from his balcony.

While Víctor is out, I'm updating my blog and taking a quick dip in the sea. The latter requires some courage. From the bus, I run through the wind to the water and after a quick refreshment, back to the calm area. I guess I have to earn the warm shower :-D

I should also appreciate the kitchen. How long has it been since I baked something? My host will surely be happy with some apple oat balls. :)

In the afternoon, I dare to take a walk in the wind to the southernmost point of Europe. The waves crash against the cliff and splash up onto the sidewalk. A spectacular place. I'm not the only one who has made this symbolic journey in this unpleasant weather. Two cyclists who have come from France to here and two German campers. This is how I finally get some full-body photos of myself. :)

Next door, the kite surfers are enjoying the high waves and it's fascinating to watch them for a while.

But you can't stay in that place for too long, the wind is just too strong. So I'm happy to recharge my energy in a cozy café with a cappuccino.

On the way back along the promenade, I admire the beautiful sky before the evening sun hides behind the clouds.
