#Thailand Day 9 Kho Yao Noi

A new day in Paradise

Outdoor showers with birdsong

And a view of the sea.

We relax by the pool in the morning.

In the afternoon, we take a pickup truck to the only town on Kho Yao Noi.

It's a pretty rickety and bumpy affair 🤦‍♀️

It's not really a road.

We pass through rubber plantations and rice fields.

About 4000 people live in the main town of Koh Yao Noi, making a living from fishing, rubber cultivation, or tourism.

We are dropped off on the shopping street. Apart from a few shops and a small market, there isn't much to see.

A gas station 😂😂

There is also a 7eleven supermarket. But since almost exclusively Muslims live here, they don't sell beer.

We find a store where the owner leads us to a back room full of alcohol. 😂😂 You can get everything on the black market here👍 after stocking up, we drive back to Paradise.

And to celebrate the day, we finally get a bottle of wine.
