After leaving our campsite early yesterday morning, we enjoy a long night tonight - one last time with the sound of the sea. Around 11 o'clock there is an extensive brunch with scrambled eggs, ham, smoothie, bread rolls, etc. and afterwards we have to say goodbye to the beautiful sea - a sad moment, as can be seen in the photos... Because we are on our way to Christchurch, where our last campsite is. During our 3-month journey (Australia and New Zealand) we have been to exactly 50 campsites! The Jucy, driven by Pia, manages its last longer trip without any problems. Once we arrive in Christchurch, we have an early dinner because tonight we are going to a rugby match - and what a match it is! We find out that the Crusaders from Christchurch have won the international Super Rugby League for the last two seasons. And we are not disappointed - we watch a great game and the Crusaders clearly beat the Hurricanes from Auckland. Luckily, it stays dry (contrary to the weather forecast), but it is still cool with 13 degrees (for our standards). With cool scooters that you can rent and unlock with your mobile phone, we zoom back to our campsite in just 10 minutes, where we celebrate the victory with a glass of wine ;-)
