'Now it's gone'. Those were Julius' words when the skylight flew off at 100 km/h on the highway between Berlin and Stralsund.
The mood was a bit down, as it had rained heavily the night before and it was drizzling on the way today. Not quite ideal with a 40x40cm hole in the roof. The malfunctioning water pump became insignificant.
So we had to go to Greifswald first, the nearest larger place with a camping repair workshop. They kindly sent us 30 km further towards Stralsund to the specialist workshop - and behold - skylight was in stock and even the old, completely calcified water pump was replaced.
A weight was lifted off our shoulders and several hundred euros off the account. Now we could relax and continue to Stralsund and Ozeaneum. So it was a good investment.
Ozeaneum was as always a hit for Konstantin. We didn't miss anything and left the museum tired but satisfied at 8 p.m. Then we had really delicious fish house fare and took an evening walk through the old town.
The eventful but finally beautiful day ended with wine and berry tea. Tonight we're sleeping in a parking lot under the bridge to Rügen ;-)
Tomorrow we're going back to Stralsund and then taking the ferry from Rostock to Telleborg.
