Day 20 - A long way back

A 'busy' day lies ahead. Firstly, we should do some laundry again and secondly, Andi is missing his headphones. That means we'll go shopping.

Although we could have our laundry done at the hotel, but a) we don't know if they just dry everything in the dryer and b) each shirt costs as much as a regular laundry, so we're looking for a classic laundromat. Fortunately, we find one near us. Everything goes well, except that in a careless moment we put the money in the wrong machine - haha. Well, nothing happened except that we need coins again. Finally, everything works out.

After hanging or depositing everything in the room, we start our first walk to the shopping center. Since we haven't been moving much in the last few days, a little walk feels good. Sunny, warm and a bit windy are perfect for the 7km to the center. Along the way, we see many things that we would have overlooked by car.

After a little over an hour and warm feet, we arrive. The center is relatively large, consisting of 3 buildings and hundreds of shops. The first stop is the Apple store for the headphones. Then we wander around a bit, but we're not in a buying frenzy. We are drawn back outside to the sun. So that we don't have to take the same straight road along the street again, we decide to walk along the river, the St. Lawrence River. It is very cozy, just burning-hot and a few kilometers longer.

I don't know how much longer, only that we walked over 30km in the evening. So enough. While countless bikes pass us, we march on resolutely. We head back to our bar, the Brunnen, to cool our feet and legs. That finally works out and we even get to enjoy a live concert :)

After eating at the Italian restaurant Bello, we head back, and once again we get to see a fireworks display. Apparently, this happens weekly...
