Hoi An, Phu Quoc, Birthday in Saigon

Wow again!

Here I am with freshly baked 30 years from Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City. I am very grateful that I had a nice birthday and that so many nice people thought of me despite the distance. Thank you very much for the congratulations again!

Before that we were still in Hoi An and on the island of Phu Quoc.

Hoi An: A super sweet city in the middle of Vietnam. Known for their cooking classes and this was my chance to learn how to cook original recipes. Just 🤤🤤🤤. The teacher even took us to the market and showed us many things and let us smell or taste. You definitely have to do this when you are here. You can't imagine how many different smells and flavors greens can have 😉

Phu Quoc: A beautiful island that I leave again with mixed feelings. On the one hand, you can still see many traditional villages with great beaches, on the other hand completely newly built places, where you feel like in Disneyland (with music everywhere). Very nicely done, but totally unauthentic. But apparently there are enough people who like that. I just hope that the villages and beaches won't eventually become dirty and displaced.

The day after tomorrow I will continue alone and I am looking forward to the jungle again! Stay tuned!
