Day 30 - A Sunday in Stockholm

This morning the sun woke us up and the wind was quite refreshing. Actually, we wanted to spend another day at the lake. However, we decided against it because we felt like going on a city tour. So we drove to Stockholm to visit the television tower.

From there, we walked into the city. The path led us past beautiful meadows and always along the water through a park. There were really beautiful, magnificent houses and many beautiful yachts.

After about 5 kilometers, we arrived in the center of Stockholm and there were also many beautiful houses and well-dressed people. Actually, we thought that on a Sunday the shops would be closed and the city would be a little emptier than usual. However, we were quickly convinced otherwise, because almost all shops and shopping malls were open and the city was full of people. So we strolled through the city and saw everything that can be seen in a few hours.

Stockholm is simply too big to see the city in one day, but we liked it very much. We will come back, but then with much more time! When we got back to the car, we met the other two again and decided to spend the evening together at the same place. Our overnight stay today is about 100 kilometers outside Stockholm, near Nyköping. There we will enjoy the evening with a beer and the sun, because it has been shining all day today!!!
