Day 13 - Trondheim

Unfortunately, we were a bit late because the phone battery was dead.

We had another beautiful morning and were able to have breakfast in the sun. We enjoyed the view of the sea and left our spot after a relaxed morning.

Our destination for today was Trondheim, a larger city in central Norway. We really liked Trondheim. There are many beautiful houses, a small old warehouse district with colorful houses, and many nice shops.

We chose the perfect day for our excursion. In addition to the bright sunshine, there was a huge market where we could buy fresh vegetables and try specialties of Norway at every stall.

In the afternoon, we left Trondheim to look for a suitable place to sleep. This time, we relied on luck as our app didn't know any places in the region.

After a long and unsuccessful search, we had to realize that it is hardly possible to wild camp near large cities. Therefore, we headed for a paid parking space directly by the sea. Here, we could relax and end the day in peace. Since we hadn't eaten much meat since the first day in Norway, we were particularly looking forward to grilling today. It's fascinating how good something can taste when you haven't had it for a while.

After dinner, we watched the sunset, took a walk, and ended the evening with a game of Monopoly in the tent.
