After a long break, I'm back. Since we mainly lived in the 'bush' during our three-week tour through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, it was difficult for me to upload a post. Here's a brief summary of the past few weeks! It would be too much effort to tell everything, so I'll only mention the highlights that were relevant to me ๐ I apologize in advance for the non-chronological order and the confusion. ๐
Some general information about the tour. Our 'family' consisted of 22 people from 10 different cultures. With our truck 'Roy', we drove 5621km from Cape Town to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We spent our nights in tents and mostly very far away from civilization.
Our group, which was called family, was amazing and our tour guides were great too. It was the people in particular who made the tour an unforgettable experience!!

As you can easily see, the first days were filled with deserts, dunes and beautiful sunsets.
We continued to the Etosha National Park. One of the largest national parks in Namibia. On the way there, we stopped at a Himba tribe, which gave us an insight into their lives. Etosha National Park: There was a waterhole right next to our campsite where the animals could cool off and quench their thirst. Except for the giraffes, we couldn't take any photos because it was too dark. From the national park, we went on a two-day tour to the Okavango Delta, where we spent two great days. We spent most of the time on the water. We continued to our final safari. We were lucky to see so many elephants. I don't know if our guide was crazy or if it was normal to drive so close to the elephants. But apparently, the elephants didn't care, so we could enjoy a unique view. After the safari, we enjoyed a boat tour through the national park. Incredibly cool ๐ Two crocodiles eating an elephant Now it was coming to an end. We made our way to Victoria Falls and thus to Zimbabwe. This trip will remain unforgettable and cannot be put into words. We are super sad that the time is over and that we probably won't see so many dear people again. At the same time, we are happy that we had the chance to meet them. This is probably the price you have to pay for such a trip. We have already landed in Bangkok. At the moment, we are very sad that our time in Africa is over. It was really a great time and the parts that we were able to experience of the continent were really impressive. It's no wonder that it is called Mother Earth. The nature, the people, the culture,... Everything comes to an end, so now we try to look forward to Asia ๐
