Pacific Rim National Park

Today we were surprised with sun and almost blue sky. Actually, in Tofino there is almost always bad weather, if you believe the reports on the internet. Well, when angels travel ....

After a cozy breakfast on the terrace, we made our way to the Visitor Office to get the day pass for the national park.

First, we took on the Rainforest Trail. Two kilometers on a wooden walkway with signs that provided all the interesting facts about the rainforest.

Then we went to the Schooner Trail. 350 stairs led us to Schooner Cove, where we were rewarded with a beautiful small beach. Unfortunately, we had to walk all 350 stairs back as well.

After these two beautiful trails, we are now taking a break from climbing stairs on our terrace, enjoying the sun. The music is provided by the Atlantic, which we can see from here, with its sometimes pretty high waves. And after seeing the surf instructor, I'm even considering taking a course myself :-).

Later we will go to Tofino for dinner.
