SAFARI TAG 3 - LAST DAY (10.7.19)

To close our safari, we spent another three hours before heading back to Johannesburg. Today we saw hippos and observed baboons playing. As we were leaving the park, we saw a crocodile in the river.

Conclusion: The safari was really, really cool and we saw so many amazing animals. We were lucky to have such a great guide who showed us so much, and we had a lot of fun. However, it's important to mention that we were really lucky to see all of the Big Five and many other amazing animals. Going on a safari is a real experience, but it's advisable to do it with a guide. There is also the option of driving through the park in your own car and searching for the animals yourself. Personally, I don't understand that option at all, as you sit much lower in a regular car and can only see half as much through the windows compared to the open elevated seats on the pickups. Moreover, the guides know much better where to find the animals and are much more knowledgeable.
