We start the next day without any feeling of hunger and only consume liquid in the form of juices.

The gecko on the wall still bothers me, but at least I was able to catch the large cockroach (?) in my toothbrush cup. Success begins with small things.

Let's go to the Ridgewalk - we want to stretch our legs, enjoy the view, and let the peace sink in. And sweat: it's finally as hot and humid as I know it from Asia. Beads of sweat are running down my head, I'm sweating a third breast - I love that. Franzi puts on an amusing headgear to protect herself, which doesn't look bad, but feels pretty bad - but if it helps ๐Ÿ˜Œ.

At 12 o'clock we meet Ogik, our driver, again. He takes us to Ubud center so we can take a stroll. Unfortunately, we can't see the ceremony that has been taking place in Ubud for 2 days, because we can't park anywhere. Whatever.

In Ubud center, I help Australians in need - the two of them have the same problem we all have here: understanding the currency and being able to differentiate the banknotes. In the supermarket, the Australian man asks the saleswoman: "How much does the cola cost?"

She: 7000 Rupiah

He: So 7 dollars?

She: Yes

He: Is amazed and can't believe it

I intervene: NO, 7000 Rupiah is not 7 Australian dollars. It's 45 cents ๐Ÿ˜…

He is relieved, and with my very basic knowledge of the banknotes, I could shine for the first time, because even in the first few days here, Franzi couldn't overlook that I don't understand the banknotes with all the zeros! Even in 2018, Phine scolded me regularly for my performance! Well, whatever.

Finally, we eat. Ogik suggests a great restaurant: https://bebekumasari.com/

The three of us order Nasi Goreng (what else)... 1,000 IR are quite something. But I've never eaten such a delicious Nasi before.

We visit the Green School - a school that I have read and heard a lot about. Green visionaries from 40 nations, a total of 430 students, learn and create here. The campus is huge, labyrinthine, complex. There are no walls, no doors, no air conditioning. But there is project work, 10 students per teacher, taking care of and giving back to the community, bamboo upon bamboo, and compost toilets. We are very impressed by this school vision, and thus also a piece of the vision of the world or society. In the car on the way home, we have a lot of time to let the concept of the school sink in...
