Upper Geyser Basin

Our first stop took us to Norris Geyser Basin. The atmosphere in the morning was mystical. On the way, we encountered the first buffalo (on the road) and on the trail, the tourists could be counted on one hand.

This bison has made itself comfortable next to a warm, bubbling, and stinking basin.

The Devil's Mouth. Made very disturbing noises caused by gases.

On our journey through Yellowstone, we also had the opportunity to observe several herds of buffalo in the wild.

Here you can see a carcass on the left and a tired, well-fed grizzly bear on the right.

Along the valley of the Yellowstone River, most of the animals could be seen.

The atmosphere in Yellowstone National Park was truly fabulous.

The surroundings are steaming as far as the eye can see, and the colors of the basins are indescribably intense. Everywhere you can hear bubbling or see some kind of animal. A fascinating spot on Earth that guarantees sensory overload ;).
