In the starting blocks

Day 2 of our break forced by the weather forecast. The clouds are hanging low and we take a walk along the sea and through the woods around the campsite. There are always squirrels darting around here. What do they eat? If they have something buried in the fall, they can really dig through the snow!

Since I don't have anything special to report today, I would like to make a video showing the facilities of a pretty good Norwegian campsite.

For those who can't open the link, a few pictures.

We wash clothes in the campsite washing machine and dry them straight away in the dryer that is also available. This is how the day goes by. Knitting, reading, carving - and at 3 p.m. it's dark. A storm hits at around 5 p.m., causes the car to shake a little, but soon clears up again. What remains is the snowfall! Hopefully we'll get out of here safely tomorrow morning, because the campsite will only be looked after by a woman at reception from 3 p.m.

The roads to the North Cape are currently open.

Tomorrow we want to drive to Skarsvåg (30km from the North Cape). Since there are no parking spaces or campsites there, we rented a cabin. Then we know it too!

If all goes well, we'll be in the North Cape on Saturday!
