After the last few days of intense driving and being here in Andoya mainly for the whale safari, which unfortunately couldn't take place today due to heavy fog, we decided to take a rest day. We had reached our final destination and now had no more stress.

A quick visit to the whale watching office for information and booking a tour was necessary, but the 20-minute drive seemed really ridiculous to us.

Since the weather was supposed to improve in the next few days, we booked a whale watching tour for the afternoon of 07.08. We also took the opportunity to lighten the attached souvenir shop of t-shirts and Lego-like building sets in the form of dolphins, whales, and sea eagles.

Back at the campsite, we decided to take an evening stroll along the beach, which turned into a shell-collecting frenzy. Anything that even remotely looked like a shell was taken with us.

Now we have enough shell crafting material for the next 100 years... not bad!
