The 3rd day was free for us, so we borrowed snowshoes. Marlene had had a sore throat for a few days and was feeling sick.
After learning that the most efficient way to use snowshoes is for one person to walk behind the other, stepping between their tracks, and the third person can walk comfortably in a well-trodden path, Marlene mostly took on the latter part so that she didn't have to exert herself as much. At some point, we started following what we thought were dog tracks (supposedly a fox). It was a very nice trip.
In the afternoon, we participated in the Puppy Walk again.
We also saw moose multiple times (:
