Redtenbacher April 2023 1st day

From one vacation to the next.

At 9:15 we left home, after about 1 1/2 hours we were forced to stop for a cocoa/Irish coffee to refill oil and after another 1 1/2 hours we arrived at our destination - Spital am Pyhrn - Gasthof Moosgierler - Redtenbacher.

Many words were exchanged, hunter's bread and farmer's donuts were consumed, cats were unsuccessfully tempted (but we still have 6 days) and donkeys were petted, before we walked around the mountain once (sounds more intense than it was, I don't think we were even out for an hour). Then it was 'legs up' until we had another round of farmer's donuts for dinner.

Since we chose a pretty bad travel time in terms of weather, but at the same time museums are closed until May 1st, it is still unclear what we will do in the next few days. But even if it's just eating, reading, teasing cats and making friends with donkeys (Paul and Kurt), it's already a good vacation. We just have to come back for all the sunny weather activities :-( (🙂).
