The first night in the tent was an adventure. A thunderstorm of death passes over us and the many tent neighbors give us a free snoring concert. In the morning we look for a partially muddy spot to unpack the picnic blanket and the camping stove. There is porridge and instant coffee, while Jan insists on baguette with salami and olive oil because oatmeal is not edible.
We're all feeling more of a beach day today and walk 10 minutes from the Abbatoggia Village campsite to the other side of the island to a pebble beach. Here we are virtually undisturbed and spend the whole day snorkeling, dozing and reading. As a reward for the relaxation, we take a big sunburn with us. For example, I'm learning that if you only apply cream to the front, you're stupid, but you also have a side at the back.
In the evening we cook pasta on the camping stove and play Wizard for a good two hours, while unfortunately we are bitten by mosquitoes. And really cool - our tent neighbors point out a little celestial spectacle to us, Elon Musk has just launched his Star Link satellites somewhere and we can see with the naked eye how a strip of light turns into many satellites that are spread out in the sky.
