For breakfast, we finally had chocolate cereal again today. Afterwards, we met up with our new Turkish friend Ömer in the city, whom we met in Santiago. Fluent in the Spanish language, Ömer showed us at the ATM what we had been doing wrong in the past few days and how to finally get money. Overjoyed, it was time for second breakfast: empanadas. After that, we took a walk and then went on a boat tour at the harbor. Our captain was quite nice and had a lot to tell, but he was also a man who tried to get as much money as possible out of us tourists. And so, he managed to persuade everyone on board to extend the 30-minute tour for 3,000 pesos per person to 45 minutes for 4,000 pesos per person. Well, the ride was still interesting. After seeing the city from below, it was time to see the city from above. We took one of the oldest elevators in the city up the mountain, expanded our circle with another traveler we had just met on the boat ride, and then walked back down to eat a typical Chilean specialty: 'Completo.' The Completo is a kind of large hot dog and comes in various variations, including with guacamole, fries, cheese, mayo, ketchup, olives, etc.
