Day 9 - Yas Waterworld

+ 41 degrees means: we spend the day in the water park!!!

So off to our favorite water park, Yas Waterworld. We are ready right on time for the opening of the park, our bags are checked, we get towels and go to the wave pool, where we have the difficult choice: which of the many empty sunbeds should we take?

We enjoy the day in the park, slide down all our favorite slides (especially the snakes and the falcon's nest) and relax in the lazy river. The husband and the kids dare this time to go on the board into the wave. Respect! The husband, however, skips the big wave this time. There was quite a lot of water... 😉

In the evening, we enjoy a farewell cocktail in the bar at the top of the Emirates Tower with a fantastic view of Abu Dhabi Downtown and the Quasr Al Watan Palace. We have to visit that next time too - it's still missing from our list.

I end the evening with a Caipirinha, admire the very "special" ladies restroom with a view of the city, and enjoy the last evening in Abu Dhabi. Tomorrow we're already heading home.
