Day 9+10: The last two days were the most beautiful ones I have spent here so far. Yesterday afternoon, we set off in a fully packed car to a house by the sea, where André's birthday party was supposed to take place. We felt like in paradise, as can be seen in the pictures. The party itself consisted mainly of drinking beer, swimming, and music by the bonfire - exactly my thing 😀 Some people set up their tents for overnight stays or slept directly on the beach. We made ourselves comfortable in the small house as we didn't have any tents and were advised against sleeping on the beach due to our sensitive European skin, as apparently thousands of mosquitoes like to gather and wreak havoc there. Since I'm still dealing with my sunburn and wanted to avoid mosquito bites, I decided not to spend a night on the beach. The next morning, we hiked up and down hills to a secluded, beautiful beach. On the way, we encountered horses, but also very poisonous spiders 🕷😬, which I preferred to stay away from. When we arrived at the beach, we immediately dived into the waves. After a few hours, we returned to the house where we spent the entire afternoon relaxing in the hammock - a weekend can't get any better, can it?
