We reached Aarhus in bad weather. And the parking lot at the harbor was not very inviting either. Anyway, at least it was allowed and free of charge and right across the street is the Hafenperle. There we settled down and had a delicious dinner.
In the middle of the night, it started pouring rain and it continued until noon. But then it got better and we took a walk into the city. A city full of art, culture, design, music, and art. So many lovingly furnished small shops, art in every corner, alternative life in the courtyards, music, and togetherness. That's what sets Aarhus apart from many other Scandinavian cities.
But the city's climate project to become the most climate-friendly city in the world by 2030 is also exciting. An entire harbor quarter has been created with low-energy houses because of it.
Finally, a coffee and something sweet. Then our journey continued.
