The Vrana Lake

The Vrana Lake is a nature park. The swamp area is an ornithological reserve with a wide variety of species.

If you don't want to only see the touristy and developed coastal towns in Croatia, you should explore the beautiful landscapes of Croatia.

A great place for that is the Vrana Lake. Here, you can not only enjoy the diverse landscape, but also go swimming, fishing, engage in various water sports, or simply relax.

We have been here for 2 days now and are currently enjoying the peacefulness and nature in the pre-season. You could almost think it's a mountain lake, but that's not the case. There are freshwater and saltwater fish as well as many bird species here.
