Ha! After the little mood low yesterday, the continuous rain has actually stopped and Windfinder has also slightly corrected its wind forecast, so today we finally set sail and were actually able to stick to our original plan to go to Hällevik. Hällevik is a small, cute Swedish village (more like a resort), located right in front of the archipelago of the Hanö Bay. So we finally arrived where we wanted to go after two weeks 🙃
Juhuu. The wind during the trip was actually manageable, but the waves were really intense. At 1.5m wave, it's already a bit scary when you can't even see the horizon anymore at the bottom of the wave before being thrown back up again. Like at the amusement park. We were quite happy to arrive here safely after 6 hours.
The sun is coming out a bit now, the Swedes are walking to the beach in bathrobes, and the place reminds us of Bullerbü.
Finally vacation. 5 - 10 degrees warmer and it would be perfect.
