Even today, first a small addition to last night. We were already on our way to the truck stop to satisfy our hunger when we saw a sign pointing to a guesthouse called Gasthof zum Ochsen in town. We followed it, but then we had to realize that the guesthouse was permanently closed. However, on the way there, believe it or not, we found a Greek restaurant with some tables in the garden. We were the only guests, the food was fantastic, and inside the restaurant, the women's choir was practicing.
Today, we got up very early and left for our first destination, Dinkelsbühl, early. The route led along a small river again, so there were no major climbs to conquer. Dinkelsbühl is like a smaller version of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, but with significantly fewer tourists. Afterwards, we continued south, with some nice climbs to cope with. In addition, it became more and more humid and thunderclouds formed. Fortunately, we were spared and arrived dry in Lauingen on the Danube. Yes, indeed, we are on the Danube.
