From Winsen/ Aller to Nordstemmen

Today was the first ride in the sun and without a wind jacket, although it was still very cold in the morning. The pre-planned route took us on many unpaved paths, at least 50% it felt like. Not exactly what a cyclist enjoys. Quite a strain on the equipment and the rider. Our route took us to Hannover first, and then along the Leine river to Nordstemmen. Although we finished early today to be able to watch the football game in the hotel, we managed to complete 84 km. Unfortunately, the football game did not live up to expectations. The rest of the tour will be a bit more relaxed now. Our destination tomorrow is Göttingen, my university town.
