Berrocal de Salvatierra is a locality and municipality in the southeast of the province of Salamanca, in Castilla y León (Spain, Europe). It is part of the Guijuelo district and the Salvatierra subdistrict. It belongs to the judicial party of Béjar, the judicial party no. 4 of the province of Salamanca, and is also part of the municipal partnerships of Pantano de Santa Teresa and Guijuelo and its surroundings.
According to the 2023 data from INE, it has a population of 72 inhabitants and an area of 30.55 km². The municipality of Berrocal de Salvatierra is divided between the town of Berrocal de Salvatierra (the municipal capital) and the depopulated areas of Las Dehesillas and Los Recios.
The beautiful parish church of Berrocal de Salvatierra is dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption; it dates back to the 17th century and is of Romanesque style typical of Salamanca. The patron saint of Berrocal de Salvatierra is Saint Isabel, and its patronal festivities in honor of Saint Isabel are celebrated around June 30.
