We already experienced the kindness of the Japanese yesterday 🙂. When we were standing in front of a store and trying to figure out what to buy, the shopkeeper came out and explained it to us in English. There was only alcohol, but we wanted something to eat. So he personally took us a few hundred meters away to a shop where they had noodle soups. He left his own store unattended. The chef in the restaurant was also very helpful in choosing the food with broken English ☺️. It's incredible how kind and helpful the people here are... And that in a city with several tens of millions of inhabitants.
We had udon, a noodle soup with lots of curry. The soup was based on fish, which couldn't be avoided in that shop. A small setback, but we accepted it for a warm meal after 26 hours of traveling 🙂.
