Since Sunday (07.05.) we have been here at Camping-Platz Rozac near Trogir. The camping site is located right on the road; which unfortunately can be heard from time to time.
The site itself is great; if the washing machine wasn't broken :-( Some clothes are slowly running out. It doesn't help us if the ladies at the reception say, 'But you can dry them!'
Monday started with the most beautiful weather. Lots of sunshine :-) So we spent the first part of the day at the beach.
Since Hannes didn't want to eat in the morning, we simply offered him a jar of carrot puree. He was in for it; you can see that in the picture :-) But we managed to clean everything up again; not least because we put him in his bath bucket in the evening :-)
In the afternoon it unfortunately got worse; it even rained. Phew, the weather radar had promised lots of sunshine :-( So we decided to go to the old town of Trogir to get a first impression.
On Tuesday morning the weather still wasn't very good. So we decided to walk to Trogir again. When we arrived, Tina found the best burger place in the world: Bubalus-Burger-Bar. A very small restaurant with only about 20 seats. The burgers were prepared right behind the counter. Handmade and super fresh. It was a culinary delight.
Fully strengthened, Hannes now wanted something too. First he had mother's milk; but then he also discovered Mama's ice cream. Well, that was something very exciting for him :-)
Back at the campsite, Steffen got on his bike and explored the other side of the bay where we are located. Hannes played during that time and Tina took care of tidying up in and around the bus.
Then we had dinner together. Tina had already informed herself about the concept of 'baby-led weaning', where babies simply eat with the adults. We tried it today; Hannes clearly had a lot of fun with it.
Since the washing machine is still broken and we think we have seen everything, we will leave for Dubrovnik tomorrow (10.05.).
Finally, the funniest situation of the past three days:
Anyone who knows Hannes knows that he smiles at everyone. And he does the same here, everywhere. When we were sitting on a bench in Trogir, a group of Chinese people walked past us. The first ones apparently didn't notice him, but from the middle of the group, they all started screaming and were so happy and shouting 'Baby, Baby!'. So the three of us, or rather Hannes, had become an attraction. :-D
