57. Tag: When we set off in the morning, the sky is covered. Although the sun occasionally comes out, it remains mostly cloudy for the rest of the day.
We first drive to the tiny mountain village of Livadia. From there, we hike to and on the Petros Rock. The path there is very varied. The landscape looks a bit like the gods were playing "marbles" with the boulders here. Especially the way back is particularly peaceful and invites you to daydream. The path is surprisingly well trodden, but most of the time we are alone. But at the only "single track" climbing spot, on the last meters before the goal, a pretty large hiking group is coming towards us. We have to wait until everyone has fought their way through. But at least we can enjoy the summit in peace. Unfortunately, we don't have a long view. But at least you can see the coast "in front of our nose".
We spend the afternoon shopping and driving to the campsite. Both are quite time-consuming today due to store opening hours, poorly maintained websites, suboptimal road layout, and recommendations from Google Maps.
In the evening, we barbecue at the overpriced Iza campsite on the beautiful Tristinika Beach. Today completely meat-free.
