Here we go for the next safari - at Etosha National Park. We will spend a total of four nights at three different campsites and drive through the park from west to east. It is extremely green everywhere because Namibia has seen so much rain like never before in the past 10 years. The landscape is therefore extremely beautiful, although animal sightings can sometimes be difficult because the grass is so high.
Highlights: the elephant that comes to the waterhole while we're having a snack, herds of zebras and giraffes, fantastic sunsets, the coziness of the campsites, the close proximity to some animals, the huge Etosha salt pan, seeing hyenas up close, lion sighting just before we leave the national park
Exciting things: the roar of lions that wakes us up at 5 am (it sounded like the lion was right at the campsite, that's how loud it was), a nighttime thunderstorm, which made us climb into the car with blankets and sleep there (the car alarm went off 3 times - no idea what happened there 😅🙈)
