Hello dear ones!
As promised, I will continue with my travel blog. Since my arrival in Cancun on 11.08.22, so much has happened, so many new impressions wanted to be stored and processed, and I had to get used to myself as a traveler, as I didn't even know myself yet... so I was usually exhausted in the evenings.
A little overview:
I went camping in Holbox, spent almost two weeks in Cancun and did 1 tour and an excursion to Isla Mujeres. After that, I spent almost two weeks in Playa del Carmen and took a tour to Sian Ka'an from there and went on a trip to Cozumel island.
Then I continued traveling to Tulum, where I spent a week in an Airbnb apartment (in the La Veleta neighborhood) and then spent almost two more weeks in the Zona Hotelera of Tulum. From Tulum, I took a tour to Chitzen Itza, cenotes, Coba, and went on a trip to the ruins of Tulum. And many beach days ;-)
After that, I spent another week in Bacalar and then took the ADO bus from Chetumal to Mexico City and Irapuato to Guanajuato. I stayed in Guanajuato for three weeks and during that time, I also attended a Spanish language school. The language school arranged accommodation for me in Centro Histórica - a wonderful place in the mountains! And with super nice and super cool landlords! I will report more about my stay in Guanajuato and the activities there later.
Well, yesterday I arrived in Mexico City again, in a very nice hostel. From here and starting today, I want to report on my trip several times a week.
Oh, by the way, I had the thought in between whether it is wise to write always up-to-date because my blog is public here on Facebook. That could possibly support criminal elements and their dark intentions, right? Anyway, I decided to report with a delay of a few days and in between maybe also talk about some stays in August or September/October. Only closest family members and friends are up-to-date on WhatsApp. Don't be mad!
I know, on Instagram and Co. that's normal, but I don't have an Instagram account and don't want to be an influencer. I'm not that extroverted. But you should never say never, right?
