Today we went to Balboa Park, which is located north of Downtown. The park includes various museums and different themed park areas such as a Japanese garden or a botanical garden. It can be said that Balboa Park is the cultural center of San Diego. After spending a few leisurely hours there, we suddenly felt a craving for a muffin, preferably with blueberries. So we started our search for a suitable bakery. On our journey, we wandered through downtown. It always seems that whenever you want something, you can't find it, but when you don't want it, it's everywhere. Eventually, we found something, a blueberry muffin with streusel topping. Then it wasn't far to the hostel, so we made our way back. After relaxing for a bit, we went for a jog along the promenade or played some basketball and did some plyometric training. For dinner, we had local specialties like quesadillas, fish tacos, and carne asada fries. Being close to Mexico, there is a lot of Mexican food, and if you've ever had Mexican food, you know how good it is!
